This would be PATHETIC imo.

https://blog.caranddriver.com/industrious-supranauts-uncover-jdm-toyota-supra-specifications/

Uncovered by the heads at SupraMKV.com, Japanese magazine Best Car seems to have found specifications for the new Supra, including weight and power.

The most pertinent figures are 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, with a 37-hp bonus overboost function, courtesy of a BMW-sourced turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six. Weight is listed as 3284 pounds, which is 196 lighter than the turbocharged Supra we tested back in 1993. The new car is shorter than the previous model by 5.4 inches and rides on a 97.2-inch wheelbase. That’s 3.2 inches shorter than the previous Supra. It hasn’t shrunk in every dimension, however. The new car is 0.6 inch taller and 1.7 inches wider than the previous machine.

Of course, all of the usual caveats apply—foreign market, preproduction specifications, filtered through a forum—and we’ll likely have to wait a long time for Toyota to confirm anything. A Supra race-car concept was just announced for next month’s Geneva auto show, however, so we may get some details then.

I reference HP, not weight and rwd.

Cause thats what everyone is gonna throw a fit about.

let's hold out hope for this though then...

Supra, Supra GR, Supra GR Sport, and Supra GRMN (GRMN stands for Gazoo Racing tuned by Meisters of the NĂĽrburgring). The report says a "significant gap in performance and price" and different suspension tunes are likely from bottom to top.

maybe this 33x hp one is the bottom level?

Isnt it using a BMW engine?

The 440i 3.0L makes 320 hp and 330 tq. Sounds like some tweaks get it up to that 335hp and 332 tq.

Depending on what engine they are using, the M4 makes like 444 hp and 406 torque 2000 rpm. That in a 3200 pound car sounds lgtits!

Plus the BMW engine responds very well to ECU tuning. So let's hope one of the models in the lineup makes M kind of power.

The it's price point is shot IMO. The Supra should be competing against Mustang/Camaro. Not M4 engine for probably more than M4 money

When I think Supra I sure don't think Camaro & Mustang.

The last couple generations of Supra were a lot more than the Mustang of the Era. I just looked up a 1998 Supra. The most extensive one started at $41K. It said the most expensive Mustang was a 1998 SVT Cobra cvt at $28.5K. Even the earlier 1993 Supra was $34K versus the 1993 GT cvt at $21K. A 1993 Cobra was only $18.5K. The Supra was not a direct competitor then and I don't think they intend it to be now.

With under 400hp itll be more like a 370z or Ecoboost competitor......

A 460hp mustang @ 3700 pounds has the same power to weight ratio as a 390 hp Supra at 3200 pounds.

And that Turbo 6 will probably make more average torque than that V8.
