2 days until the Bears take the field

Bears are going to run/short pass the shit out of the football this year.

True story, because Glennon can't throw a deep ball to save his life.
Hoping the Cubs play deep in to October again so I have something to look forward too.

I will be watching the new Bear receivers to see if any of them can stretch the field. Glennon would still have to hit them but it would be nice if one or two of them can get open. A third year breakout White would be nice, too. He was a top first round pick.

Glennon sucks. If this is how he plays come regular season, it won't be long until Trubisky comes in.

Glennon fixated on the left side of the field on that INT play. He threw into triple coverage.

Cohen did amazing things in college. He's small, quick, fast and smart. I love the way the guy follows his blockers and hits the holes fast in his videos. If he gets into the secondary and gets a block or two, he's gone.

The Bears may have the highest run percentage in the league this year. They want Howard to wear down the opposing D and then have Cohen bust some runs. Good plan. No idea if the blocking will be there to accomplish it.

How do you not cover the veteran Cruz? Easy TD. Trubisky time.

Best case scenario, we have Trubisky/Shaheen being similar to Brees tossing to Gronk. That's what the Bears management was thinking when it drafted them. Worst case, Shaheen is going to get a lot of balls. Once Trubisky takes over, that is. 4 games of sucky Glennon and good Trubisky and the boos will start week 1.

Also, Trubisky is a shotgun QB. 2 minute drill is perfect for him.
