Possibly a former employee, but it feels like he isn't supposed to be there, like the employees don't know he is there.

I've gone back and forth about it...with as much control as they seem to have, I can't imagine they have someone wandering around in there, outside of their view...which is why I think they know he's there, they're just looking the other way...just sort of speculating on the circumstances...unless he's found a way to hide from their sensors...

Possibly, but if he's been there as long as has been implied, it long pre-dates the glitching...plus if he was a former employee, saying he's been coming there for 30 years, might jive...IDK just throwing out theories

Based on what he said, i took it as he has just returned for the first time in 30 years. That's why he mentioned that the girl hasn't changed one bit.

Shouldn't there be cameras trained on all guests and androids at least when they are outside using drones and scenery mounted cameras? Androids could also easily be equipped with cameras and sensors.

I would think that customers don't want video proof of all the fucked up stuff they do to the androids.

Yeah, but with corporate liability fears and the fact they know the androids can be defective, it would make sense corporately to keep tabs on everything that happens.

Well this episode at least proved that they know about Ed Harris' character...I didn't catch whether the guys said "THAT guest can do whatever he wants" or "THE guest can do whatever he wants"

Caught up on the second episode. Still having a tough time getting interested in the series. Not really interested in any of the characters. They're manufactured and don't have real backstories, and they haven't teased much self-awareness to get me interested yet. And now I have to look at a fucking McPoyle brother.

There's also a Firefly tie in that was interesting.

Some answers and a lot more questions.

I think this is a well written series that is developing. They can't give us everything in the first couple episodes. The mystery is getting more complex each episode.

If you didn't watch Firefly or didn't notice, hot, sexy Gina Torres who played Zoe on Firefly is Bernard's ex-wife on Westworld. Older but still hot. Hope we get to see more of her and it wasn't just a cameo.

Hmmmmmm, been reading some interesting theories...not quite sure I believe anything yet.

Ed Harris' character was barely onscreen; however, the mystery into his character deepened. Is he a host, or is he a guest? The flashback would make it seem like he's a host...that's been maybe somehow turned sentient?
