I hang Christmas lights inside the Suburban during the holidays and travel with them lit usually. Gets lots of thumbs up from folks... but this... this just puts the icing on the cake. Each to their own though I guess.

The same lights are STILL hung in that truck! Saw them at the Bryon track day!

Honestly, pop off the tailgate and sand the shit of that bottom recessed inch or so (where im assuming the rust is)

Mask it off, and hit it with truck bed coating. Done that on 3-4 Dodge trucks.

Did this the other day, will post a pic of how it came out.

My first time playing with Bondo (cut out the rust, sanded everything, hit it all with chemical rust converter, then bed-lined it).

I fucked up the bed liner a bit in a spot, but the bondo job I did on the tailgate is completely hidden from looking at it.
