I could deal with minimal gauges. But on a long trip, a fuel gauge is a good thing to have, especially if the odometer or tribometer doesn't work.

The gears inside the cluster crumbled to dust, so it doesn't work anymore, which could be okay if the fuel worked. Sender is bad, and I just haven't felt like dropping the tank to replace it.
