Did you guys not see where he posted that he didn't have time to go to court so he just paid?
And did you know that it will still be in the court's records as "closed"?

C'mon, what happened in court? This thread needs closure.
Everybody play nice. I want to know what happened.
Of course, if we don't get a real court report, I guess we will have to make some up.
Aren't court records public knowledge? Someone go to wherever Essex does their courts and figure out what the verdict was.
Not bashing you but isn't that more expensive than taking the class, or was that not an option?

dude fuck.
i had to go to court with my lawyer for a ticket when i was 19 to keep my license. it was NOT that cheap. court costs alone were 250... fine was 300? and then 250 or so for the lawyer
fuck that shit.
It could depend on what the violation is for and the situation you're in.
Lawyers charge by the hour and their rate is usually in the hundreds. My dad consulted a lawyer for a breach of contract issue from his business and the rate was $300 an hour.
Buisness and civil disputes are a completely different breed of Lawyer.
I've seen a number of flat-rate traffic court lawyers, the system is fairly cut and dry when it comes to driving infractions.
Depends what the offense is and as always....you get what you pay for.
