Settled is a loose term. Getting there though. I've been drinking way too much out here. It's too easy to do when its 80's everyday. It only took 30 minutes to get to Siesta key. We are heading to Anna Marie Island this weekend and it say 20 minutes. Not a bad place to live.

Palm trees always put you in a good mood. Even tho they have absolutely NO business being here Especially in my state. But theres a stretch of road near my house thats lined w/ them every time I drive thru there I still feel like Im on another planet. But I like it.

It's been solid. Comfortable on long drives and enough cargo room for me with the hatch. Was quite fun earlier today blasting around the twisty and not quite snowy roads south of Galena near the Mississippi. Best mpg was 37.0 over 110 miles, but was so boring going 70 behind other cars trying to hypermile. More typical to get around 28 to 32 mpg hwy at higher speeds. City around 23 to 25.

I'm looking to buy a JB4 soon to make up the 60hp deficit between my 2.5t and the 3.3tt.

Did a strip wash and cut and polish on the wife’s Passat today. Came out pretty good. Was hoping to get a few more swirls out but I’m still learning the art of the buffer.
