Yea I just paid for my sticker which Is up at the end of December and it was only $79. My friends is up next month and it's $99.

Though, I just renewed 2 of mine (Dec 2009) ... and both were still at the $86 amount ... (including the $1 increase for "police equipment" or something like that). Ah, well. Cost of living continues to rise...no surprise or secret there.

Yeah i just got my renewal and it was $119, although I have vanity plates.

mine is 133.00. i do have the vanity plate though

went to the dmv yesterday. $144 for new plates/reg/title for the cutlass. After Jan 1, 2010 it would have been $194.

$50 increase for new plates.

Oh and I hate the DMV... only take check or Money order for tax and only take cash or money order for the new plates...

That's why I have my car registered in Wisconsin. It's cheaper, no emmissions, and the DMV was a pleasure to work with. It literally took me 5 minutes to get the car registered and my plates handed to me. They are very efficient compared to the IL DMV>
