yeah FX (full frame) Nikon stuff is soo nice. I really need to get mine in for service. all the rubber is coming off it but it still takes great photos.
I would like the D800 a little more if it was a faster shooter, and had some kind of GPS tagging, like with SnapBridge. Not about to spend the big $$$ to get an external GPS module, I'll use the D7500 instead.

I do have some good glass for it, like 5 or 6 Nikkor lenses, including a 35mm f/1.8 and an 85mm f/1.8 prime lens.

Most of my lenses are old AF-D Nikkor or even older manual focus. all of it is f1.4-f2.8. I have to use a camera with the internal motor for the old auto focus glass. I think the only modern lens I have as a Nikon 60mm macro AFS. Many are left over from I started to take photos with film and a Nikon FE and F3 as a hobby and moved to Digital later. Probably have around a dozen lenses but again most of them made for what would be vintage cameras now.

One of my all time favorites though is the 180mm 2.8D. Such a good looking lens wide open.

Few of my lenses. Old Nikon FE SLR with a 50mm f1.8 E pancake lens. 24mm f2.8D AF, Voightlander 58mm 1.4 manual focus, 35mm-70mm 2.8D AF (my main go to lens for general use), the 180mm f2.8 ED and the D700 with the 300mm f4.5.

Blue Super Moon

Do not have the energy, nor am I in the mood to bust out the telescope to get a photo.

Nikon D800, NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.3, remote shutter release.
ISO 100, 1/640 sec, f/5.3, white balance 5260K

I could slap the FX 28-300 on my D7500 and run it in DX crop (1.3x), but really not feeling it. I'll wait till the next one in 2037.

finally processed my super mood shots. not bad. Nikon D700 300mm f3.5 Manual focus ancient heavy lens.

also while my dad and I were working in the garage we heard all kinds of birds freaking out. we check it out and find 3 hawks fighting over a fresh kill. I ran in to get the camera. This guy was walked away with the kill. same camera and lens as the moon shot.
