Dig deeper. He had arthroscopic and then regular surgeries for a torn labrum. I was on a sports forum while they were digging into his history. Played for a year with the torn labrum which is impressive.

Bears are hoping for another Eddie.

I think it’s also an attitude thing too. If he’s lazy and had a bad attitude, he’s worthless as a QB in the league. Going to the Saints is an absolute best case scenario for him honestly. Great coach, great lockeroom, and Brees is a great team leader. If he can’t succeed there, he can’t succeed anywhere.
