I think it's actually common to have slight surface rust on cylinder walls whilst running on E85, or at least you're not the first person to notice that.

Yea, I'm not sure. I don't think it's really an issue, I'm sure it goes away once the weather is warm and the thing is chugging along. Hard to say though.

I debated it to be honest lol. I'm going to see how this goes first. My blower RPM will be at the same level it was with the 2.4 upper only, I was shifting the old setup at 6200-6300. This one will be 6900-7000.

Motor arrived yesterday, but they forgot to ship a couple things that were needed with it so that will slow things down a couple days at least. They are working on getting the cam in today along with some other things. I’ll keep posting as progress continues.

Never heard of that going bad as well on a Hemi. Peaking around, common causes could be not using the correct oil or failing to change the oil on time. Neither of those would apply to you, whats Jeremy's thoughts?

How often were you changing oil on E85? I’ve heard running E you need much more frequent oil changes.

Guys have sent oil out to black stone. Didn’t show much difference at all compared to running 93. When you drain your oil on corn it literally looks brand new. You can see right through it.

I do 2000-3000 depending on the abuse.

I always did around 2000 miles full synthetic when I run E85 in my GTR . Oil is pretty cheap , oil change was $30 for me . You have flex fuel so I highly recommend running 1 tank of 93 gas like every 3-4 months to lube the fuel system and clean the gunk that E85 leaves

oil looks clean but smells like E85 so E85 definitely gets mixed with oil
