Golf R is around 3,300lbs and change. How did you arrive at 4300lbs? GTi's are like 200lbs lighter or so.

Yeah, I don’t even know what the point was…maybe I’m depressed that even with a aluminum front clip and tailgate my junk is almost 4500 lbs

It's been a fun summer!

Its throwing 3 misfire codes. But thats it. Nothing for fuel, which I was hoping would show up. No lean code, no nothing.

A blown head gasket will cause a nasty misfire also. Hopefully it's not a catastrophic failure and it's back together quickly!

Head gasket was also on my short list. But i didnt see coolant and oil k i s s i n g. But its still on my list.

This week isnt a big deal b/c Tour is this weekend and I'm not doing jack shit until then. Next week, I'll either just use my mom's car, since she never leaves the house or SRT41320 said I can use his lincoln to pimp until my car comes home.

I’d compression test it to be sure. I have a borescope if you need to borrow.

Already scoped it, all but piston #3 looked fine. Will definitely do a leak down as well.

Nope. Car is sitting in the garage and getting towed away on Sunday (hopefully). I'm not even gonna touch it at this point. Buddy is a VW tech at a dealer and its gonna be his problem
