so i can keep it running if i attempt to hover RPMs around 3000... it still lurches, but i can keep it alive. but it REAKS of fuel while doing this.

no changes with unplugging maf, iac, iat, tps, map.
plug wires are on correctly
no blown fuses
no damage to wiring harness
backside of fuse panel looks untouched
ICM and ICM harness look untouched

havent checked the vacuum line yet, or cam/crank.
but it still starts quick, highly doubt cam/crank problem.

If the vacuum tee is really busted, you will have a manifold leak, a bad MAP sensor reading, and high fuel pressure . I'd check it next, just saying.

put your phone next to the pcm so i can talk to it and we can straighten this out.

what are fuel trims when you keep it running?

maybe the fpr is leaking into the intake through the vac line

are you getting sensor data? look for values outside of normal

still check the cam and crank sensors for wiring damage

also make sure someone didnt shorten and vac fittings or push the plastic line in so far that it bottoms out and seals a sensor from getting a man vac refrence.

Of course she didn't but if you did it at the relay or by connecting the two wires going to the resistor .....that's essentially a permanent repair

I drove with that tab bent on the relay for 3 years. It was my understanding they ditched that setup in later years anyways and ran the pump in the high speed position.

My '02 GS didn't come with a resistor. And the Casper's hotwire kit comes with a jumper wire the bypass it.

Later years and the high end early cars (eg 98 riviera) got pulse width modulation pump controllers with direct pcm control
