So is that front diff going in the back? I may have missed something here.

My buddy owned about 10 Datsun 720 king cabs. He rusted two of them in half driving between Fairfield and Carbondale.
My car is only rwd. People just grab them as an easy upgrade due to the higher ratio and being stronger, this car came stock with an R160 that were usually 3.9:1.

I am throwing in the Subaru Diff (Mostly for the limited slip) once I have it running and have the money for the new CV axles and stubs to convert it to the Datsun pattern. (Around 1100-1400 depending on the place that makes them)

Installed setup on a 510.

These would replace the stock axles which looks roughly like these and make a good bit of noise at certain MPH at least on my car.

Spent about 3 hours bending a 25 foot piece of stainless line into my fuel line. I made one mistake (1/2 inch too long) which is really pissing me off but it will work just fine. Took me a while to remember how to use my pipe bender with measurements which led to the 1/2 mistake.

3 more bends but it was midnight and I made a mistake here the last time which is why I had to remake this line. Have to weld 2 more brackets and make a bracket for the engine bay to hold the an fittings. Just ordered the aluminum AN wrenches as I have been just using tape and being really careful when I did all of the fuel system on the 300zx.

Also you can see my "wonderful" side exit exhaust the previous owner created. Loud is an understatement.

Gotta say you're doing a lot better than me making brake lines which is about 25 a foot roll of line goes into about 12 foot of actual lines.

So are you lining up the mark/measurement at the 0 or at the L mark? This video explains it pretty well with how to use the markings on the bender. It made a big different in how quickly I could replicate my other piece instead of me just eyeballing things like I would with brake lines.

Got 3 days with no kids and no wife. Just ordered in all the fuel fittings last week. Going to see if I can get this thing running this weekend. Got the holley in tank fuel pump with the hydramat pickup.

Been sick of how loud the bosch 044 fuel pump was and not as many cheaper options for e85 compatible pumps.

Thanks for the vid. Will have to watch when the kid isn't blaring gaming videos on YT.

Will be curious on opinions of the Hydramat. I have a Walbro 255LPH pump with it. The hype paints it up to be amazing, but I'm not sure. The setup I have was to retro fit a Jeep tank and was modified for an AMC tank.

I mean I dont see a point for it on an suv unless you are wheeling it and worried the pickup will go dry. We had one in our race cell for endurance racing and it let us use the last 2 gallons of gas withought losing power in sustained turns.

I really want to run this thing on the track which is why I went overboard on the fuel system. I was really close to putting in a racefuel cell in it but didnt want to chop up the whole trunk area so this was my compromise. Not a big deal to keep a few extra gallons im it for a session if I am not competing.

Little more progress from this afternoon. Not super happy with the one long line from the output of the fuel pump to the fuel filter but I can always fix that later (aka never) . I really wanted the fuel filter under the car but there wasn't a good spot to hide it without being worried about it getting ripped off if I go off the track or scrape the bottom of the car. So for now its in the trunk.

Just have 2 more soft lines up front from the hard line to the fuel rail, and the FPR back to the return hard line.

Man this thing has been fighting me all day. But all the fuel lines are in now will have to test for leaks once I get the wiring settled for the fuel pumps.

Have to run a new rear brake line next, get the rear differential/subframe back into place, hook up the speed sensor/reverse switch on the transmission and then check all of the wiring I did inside and test the ecu. I don't think I can actually start it this weekend at the rate I am going but I am super super close to having it at least start and idle.

Made the soft lines from the fuel rail and FPR down to the hard lines

Pay no attention to the atrocious clutch and brake lines from the previous owner. On my list to fix once I get this thing running and moving. The soft lines are like at least 3 inches short if you wanted to turn the wheel lock to lock.
