Truth man! Bumper brand new was 200

Lift is a 5k mile used 4.5 inch kit for $300

Roof rack was $150 used from Wisconsin

rims were $120 15x8 steelies

and tires were 15k mile used bfg 31's -- 5 for $175

Its can be done guys, just savvy shopping and a lot of labor!

Check out this forum. There's a section for expedition vehicles. They list Jeeps, land cruisers, rovers, etc etc etc.... You can see what other people are using the trucks for and can probably make a more well rounded decision than the few of us that wheel here.

So I went and test drove a 99 mitsubishi montero limited full size. I have to say its a pretty awesome SUV; but this particular one was a bit rougher then it looked in pics.
It was fully decked out though. Rear factory air locker, heated power seats and mirrors, some sweet center gauges and a big ass sun roof. It's actually smaller then I was expecting too.
