someone i know "went boating" friday and saturday. im here thining with those storm and the current flooding, where the hell are you going? i figured everything within ~50 miles was closed to personal watercraft.

some other lakes are no wake, or high, but it's mainly the chain that's raped currently.

Lake Geneva is recommended no wake by WSP, but it means nothing until the DNR enforces it.

We are making slow progress with water going down. Every time I think we get ahead it rains again. Yesterday I got 1 inch of rain in about an hour. Made the river rise again fast. Starting to come down again now but slowly.

If anyone doesn't know the Algonquin dam is a few hundred feet downriver of this location.

Man, my house looks fucking good in one of those pictures. Neatly manicured lawn, house is worth 300k easily.

My buddy Scott posted something on FB the other day as his yard is under water. A catfish just swimming in his yard, then "Oop, he's going in the shed!"

I got water around my whole house now. I wish they took those pictures when it was at or near one of the crests. Sweet pics tho.
