[Five-0]

Say hello to Notcho 2.0. Happened much faster than I thought, but I’ll take it. This is what I was after all along. Great patina, but literally no actual rust. You could eat off the bottom of this thing.

Original 5.0, but swapped out to a 93 block and T-5. This car used to be local and then spent some time in Texas and I bought it off that guy and had it shipped here.

Plans are to leave the paint as-is, tidy up the engine bay and interior and just drive it until I decide to up the power.

That's the plan. Leaving the paint as is, maybe a matte clear to preserve it. Might get painted one day, but not for a long while. Makes about 400hp now, 500hp is the end goal like the other one. Keeping stock bottom end in it.

This thing is perfect, the patina and being a 4-eye makes it that much better. I passed up on an LX Notch back in 2012 and regret it at times still, always loved these cars.

Factory weight is 3000, so with supercharger and such, 3100 would be my guess. 3200 when I’m done since I plan to dynamat it and add a sub for cruising. No stripped down race car here!

Did some cheap fun “mods”. Put some bullet casing valve caps to nod back to my Bullitt and I saved these “Five.0” badges from the first fox I ever had. Never seen another set since. They fit the theme of the car perfect and it’s where my screen name came from originally.
