I used ForScan and turned on the AWD gauge, removed the honk when you close the door and the key is outside it, and changed how many blinks on the turn signal when changing lanes.

ForScan is the shit. I unlocked and changed a bunch of stuff on the Mustang when I had it. I just tossed out the obd interface a couple weeks ago lol.

ForScan is software that when used in conjunction with the correct OBD interface allows you to change the settings in the various factory modules. Usually little things like fog lights on with the high beams, turning off DRL, dashboard settings, and other small things. It’s works with Ford and some Mazda cars.

https://forscan.org/home.html here's the home page. It takes a certain dongle or a usb odb cable to use the full pc version. If you have a laptop I recommend using it since the lite version isn't the full interface. Also need a license to change settings which is free but only lasts a certain time. Then needs renewed. I paid for the lifetime license which was $32 I think.

I use Forscan to program keys on the Fusion and shut off the auto start stop crap on my dads F150. Should be able to upgrade to sync 3 with forscan and a new APIM or whatever it’s called

Yup. On the forscan site there should be a Taurus spreadsheet and it tell you exactly was to change in what module to activate features

It's pretty dope, I used something similar on my Ram called AlfaOBDII and I activated all kinds of fancy options I didn't pay for.

Forscan might be the best thing about Fords.

If someone programs Alex's car change his start up display on the radio to a mustang, gt40, or something else.

panic alarm key fob off
seat belt chimes off
open door chimes off
parking lights on all the time

some others are
windows up/down with key fob
auto fold mirrors with key fob
