Mind you, when I was first out at corners and VIP land I didn't have a license.. I was either driving for my dad or he was out for the night and I "was at a friend's house" ?

My mom's house was right behind cub foods at corners. Like literally behind it. We had a gate into the alley. I would just wonder over on my bike as a kid... When I met Marty and Kelly and all those goones lol

BOTTLEFED might know where Armondo is at nowadays? He talks to Gagner, Mamood(sp?), and a few of those Schaumburg guys from back then. I remember when Armondo got whacked by Rod's 1969 Riviera. He was amazed. He was our biggest cheerleader from then on out. Such an animated guy when he was excited haha

You were in a great spot to find an interesting time in street racing. haha Many nights we would be at 4 corners and if there was no action, head to Lake street.

The first street race I saw was back in 1991 when I was 16. It was Neil's G-body from Aurora and Knippin's red Firebird. I was at half-track and when the flashlight went on I saw Neil's headlights point to the sky. I was in shock seeing that and feeling the wind push me as Neil flew by us. Paul had a nitrous issue so it wasn't a close race. But man, I was hooked!

I remember there were two Dr. Boosts, Surej and another guy, was maybe a dentist and had a white 3rd gen TTA.

As a Chicago transplant I don't think I ventured down to Corners until the very late 90s, which is around the time I started going to the BK in Roselle.

Even though I have known Brian a while I forgot he was Xbreed lol.

I was thinking of the dentist with the white Turbo T/A until you mentioned that. They always joked that he used medical-grade nitrous from in his car.

But ya, BK, the Train Station, Handy Andy, McDonald's, Women's Work Out World, and everything in between. Lots of good times.

Got all my rear suspension today. From Great White Drake

I'll put it all when I finally get it to the shop to do the trans.... Might have to find replacement poly bushings for some of the ends though, which BMR claimss they don't have for the ones older than 15 year... This may be fun.

I'll get measurements and call energy suspension tomorrow and see if anything is close, even if I have to turn them down on the lathe

17x8 polished torq thrusts acquired.
Tires are junk (225/50 & 255/45). Gonna have to test fit and see what size tires to get later.

Oh for sure. And these are full of body shop dust, almost kind of encapsulated the polished finish perfectly. Cuz I hit one with a foam pad real quick and it's like perfect underneath lol.

As it turns out I need to find lug nuts now. I don't have any of the proper acorn style chrome closed end lug nuts.

I'm going to bring some random ones home tonight just so I can get them mounted on the car in the garage and on its weight

I liked the oversized GNX wheels, but I hate to say it, I like to use torque thrust twos much more. I think it fits much better if you know what I mean.

Love it! And I heard if you call Ridgid And tell them that your battery is bad and give them the information they want to know they'll just send you a new one. ?

Man that looks great. The GNX style wheels would have looked better factory size IMO, but that might be just me.
