So I do have my first actual 'Negative' update right now just to be full disclosure;
I had the oil changed on Tuesday and intended to have them flush the trans too given the mileage and how we use the truck at the dealer most local to me.
They did the "Works" Service, but declined on doing the trans flush as the hose fitting is corroded so badly below the transmission cooler (It's visually split from aluminum corrosion but not leaking).
I called Rod Baker and it sounds like they are working to make this right, so I'll update later if they are willing to eat that as a "miss" from their multi-point inspection that they swore up and down would ensure it was a quality truck, blah blah blah.
I fully intended to pay for the trans flush on my own dime, but I was quoted $850 for just the trans line on a truck that is technically like 6 months outside of its corrosion warranty, so fingers crossed Rod Baker takes care of me.
Separate from that, the power side step on the drive side hasn't been super consistently closing after getting in the truck, so I've just disabled them for now (Menu Setting).
Again, both seem to be fairly common issues for this truck and its age.
One interesting discovery; the 2014 (Last year of that body style and engine) has the SUSPENSION setup of the 2015-2019 Trucks, so aftermarket lift shock options are a little more limited (I want to do a 2/2 lift maybe after winter with some larger rubber/wheels, might just do it with spacers like most recommend)
