The main reason would be their tools/battery are lighter than DeWalt stuff. That is pretty big when you are using those tools all day long. Their tools are usually smaller as well. Which allows better access and maneuverability. But for a shade tree mechanic and homeowner, the cost of their stuff doesn't offset those benefits.


There may be a handful of tools where this is actually true, but comparing apples to apples these statements are false. You are either comparing incorrect models or older models.

For as many people that there are that say DEWALT sucks, I can give you an equal amount that say Milwaukee sucks. Fact is that both companies offer solid tools and each have areas they do better than the others.

It all boils down to personal experience. Case in point Deezul using a tool that he felt was crap and he has written off the entire brand.
