Amazing how the LT-1 just fits in there and looks factory. Has always made me wonder why GM never put a V-8 in those trucks.

Sounds like a shop possibly did the swap? They'd have to legally keep any emissions. That pump is at the bottom usually.

Being the LS fan that I am, I could care less with this one. It's built nicely, a v8 is in a s10 blazer with fully functional 4wd and all other options. You would save an ass load just buying this instead of doing and LS yourself

I can't get over how everyone is being so picky... If you could get it for $5k it would be a steal. The truck is clean, and there is no way you would kind a Typhoon that clean for that cheap. Hell the guy selling the one on the site is the cleanest one i've seen listed and that's $12k too. I want something to drive not sit, this would be DD'd everyday a typhoon is something you don't

Yea, if it had a snail attached to it... 4.8 turbo > 4.3 turbo and it would sound better too

But if it was N/A like this I would never think a 4.8, I know how much they lack on the low-end and it drove me nuts. I can feel Tony's pain w/the one in his s10. There is much more potential with larger displacement. A 5.3 with his cam, he would probably be walking me.

A stock 5.3 would still be the better option for a DD. Although if the 4.8 was laying around yes, I would probably use it..... then throw a snail on it
