First of all never go to a doctor provided by your company they are trained to prevent lost time injuries, that includes giving any perscriptions, giving any days off work, any devise like a brace or splint, basically they are supposed to tell you your fine and send you packing, I went through this with an employee I had at a large company fucked his knee up bad but they wouldn't let him have any time off or give him any medicine for it because it would make the company look bad, he later needed surgery on his own dime because he did what the company told him to do
