First Exploder's killed people because of under-inflated Bridgestone's/Firestone's.

Second Exploder kills people because of Carbon Monoxide poisoning.

I bought one of those stupid carbon monoxide detectors. The Flex is essentially the same...probably stupid, but hey, worth giving it a stab

Both due to owner error/stupidity
Please, tell me how you detect carbon monoxide is killing you. With this answer, you could save hundreds of people per year that have no idea it's happening to them. I wonder if that's why the call it a silent killer? Perhaps they don't know it's happening to them, cause if they did, they would do something about it, it'nit?

Yea, I can partially agree on the tires underinflated thing being owner/operator stupidity, but an owner/operator can't control how CO gets in unless they're parking inside with the engine running.

I wonder if he's a member here? He's in the Chicago area (I believe these were filmed around Schaumburg/Woodfield based on stuff in the video and he has Illinois Fire Fighter plates).

I don't think he is, but he should be. His videos are awesome so I'd represent him anyways, but it's even better that he's from Chicago.

This is old news and there was a recall done.

I've always lived under the belief that a little CO never hurts, and if anything gives you a slight buzz.

hrmmm. I got a letter. But like he said in the video it definitely was NOT a recall letter.

Is it a recall letter or a letter that he mentions in the video, because it's probably not a recall letter. He literally said in the video there hasn't been a recall, but there has been a letter to bring your car in for a technician to inspect it.

I'll have to ask the wife for the letter. She said it was a recall letter, but it very well could have been one of those "bring it in for service" letters and she assumed that meant recall.
