IDK if this is already a thread, but I'll go ahead anyway....

Seeing as this is a car forum, I would assume that I'm not the only one with road rage in here. I'm sure there are plenty of others out there that agree with me that there are some dumb motherf&*$#ers on the road. I feel like I encounter them all. Maybe use this to vent your experiences...

Like today, I had to go to Woodfield and go to the Apple store for a computer my office that needed to be repaired. On the way there, I was in a right turn lane on Higgins and I was lucky enough to have a moron in front of me. The sign said "no turn on red WHEN PEDESTRIANS ARE PRESENT!" So I'm waiting..... waiting..... I see no pedestrians.... *inner monologue* "why the fuck isn't this guy turning?" It doesn't piss me off that I'm waiting at a light longer than I need to be, it's more the fact that they don't take the time to scan down and read the second sign below. I mean, how stupid are you?

So I honk.... He flails his arms pointing to the sign (still no pedestrians in sight). :retard: I was about milliseconds away from getting out of my car to point to the second sign mockingly flailing my arms like this tool. Freaking moron... then of course when the light turns green he waits for the clouds to part and for God to say "you shall pass" before taking the effort to turn his wheel and step on the gas.

This happens all the time at the Irving exit off of Elgin O'Hare. There's 2 right turn lanes and the sign says "no turn on right EXCEPT FAR RIGHT LANE!" Then people don't turn in the far right lane because they are :retard: when it comes to reading..... I swear, there are more and more "special" drivers out there everyday. We are surrounded!

Just the basic left lane hoggers/shitty mergers. However, the other day I got some guy was going SLOW AS FUCK merging onto 88. Honestly it's one of my biggest pet peeves when fucktards merge onto a highway trying to go 50 with an average speed of 60-70 mph. So I just said fuck this guy and cut over and merged earlier since he was going slow, and he tried to block me off from merging before him. So what does he do as I go around him, he gives ME the finger for trying to drive like a normal person. Fuck people who drive on i-88. Bunch of idiots.

I'll be honest here though, I drive like what people would consider a douchebag, I'm not going to sugar coat it. I go fast, I merge without signaling, and I don't really care. I do it for a reason though, to piss off those who piss me off. If I hop on the tollway and everything is all good and grand, people are going with the flow, I'll be fine and drive normally. It's when I get some fuck going 60 in the left lane, or they see me coming up faster than them and merge into my lane regardless I'll start driving aggressively.

I tend to scare my friends b/c I'll be calm talking to them/listening to their stories and then I'll just break out and swear at some moron on the road then break back into listening to them/talking to them. lol Most of the friends that I've had for a while are used to it..... most....

I had somebody STOP mid merge the other day from york to lake... it's unbelievable! YOU DO NOT STOP WHILE MERGING! And I'm pretty aggressive too, but I always signal! So at least I warn before I cut you off! lol

lol, last time I had somebody stop while merging, I fucking rear ended them, because I was trying to concentrate on merging (thick traffic). Dude was fucking stupid. But of course in Illinois any accident involving you hitting someones rear is your fault. Luckily his bumper just had a hole in it from my fender and my front bumper was all fucked up so the Trooper just gave me a warning.

I am with you 100% and drive the same way. Left lane campers and people that cant merge are the worst drivers of all. People that constantly have to brake because they dont know how the gas pedal works, make top of the list too. This is why we have traffic jams every single day.

If you are scared to drive or cant comprehend the requirements to use a highway, take the fucking bus before you kill yourself or someone else.

the worst place for someone to stop while merging is downtown, where you have to merge into the left lane. I've had it happen to me twice. If I had something destructive to throw at their car I wouldn't have thought twice about doing it.

Yeah dude, the constant brakers are annoying as hell too. Most of those people are the ones that drive with 2 feet. Nothing like seeing someone cruise down the highway going 55 with their brake lights fully lit up for miles.

When I've owned a moonroof car (like now), I always keep tennis balls in the car. They make a good WAKE THE FUCK UP projectile without getting you killed or killing someone if you decide to toss one out @ 70.

I can't stand when a 2 lane road is about to merge into one, and there's almost always some asshole that just HAS to get in front of everyone. Generally I just hit the gas and don't let them in front of me. What else...redneck pickup trucks with smoke stacks...oh and people that ride your ass, especially ones that do it with their brights on.

was stuck in traffic for 45 minutes in bum fuck michigan on 94 crawling through a construction zone for i dont know how many fucking miles (there were no workers present, i dont have a problem obeying speed limits). so i took 294/88/39 to avoid downtown and the cluster fuck that is 90 right now, otherwise i probably wouldve stopped in front of a left lane driver and beat them senseless with the 3 D cell maglite i keep in my car

and yes i have accepted the fact that i will probably die from a heart attack in a traffic jam sometime in my mid 30s

I'm kinda the same way, although I always use my signal when merging. You never know if someone else is thinking about changing lanes and you want to let them know to get out of your way because you thought about it first.

I do have a very heavy foot though. One of the highways I take to work has a 55mph speed limit. I will typically do 70-80 depending on how much of a hurry I'm in. I know I'm bound to get ticketed one of these days, but the faster I can make it to work (or wherever I'm going), the faster I'm not sharing a road with the dumbass drivers out here. People will do 45-50 on the highways out here and then look at you like YOU'RE the idiot.

I rage with a fury unseen since the time of the vikings. I turn into the guy from 300. Thats why I love having a large loud pickup, I don't mind smashing your prius and ripping past you like a satanic stormtrooper.

The people that wont turn right at all at an intersection that has redlight camaras gets me going. It is not that hard to properly stop at the line and go when its clear. When people wait for the green light I get as close as possible and blind them with my 55w HIDs that are right at most cars eye level.
