Bachelor Party ideas?

Throw 'em at me! I'm throwing my little brother's bachelor party in July. I was going to book a suite at the Hard Rock Hotel downtown but they won't allow bachelor parties... Seriously... of all places that won't let you have a bachelor party, the Hard Rock Hotel? They wanted me to rent a ball room. No thanks.

So I'm trying to think of other ideas. Throw them at me folks. I'm trying to book this in the next few days.

I threw a party on the top floor of hardrock cafe, i actualyl rented the whole floor out. its cheap like $1500 or somting for the entire floor. 1 suite and 1 room conncted to it.

Its fun! No other hotel in that calibar would let you party hard as hard rock. trust me. ive looked

The bedroom was huge, the TV in the suite was 50 or 55" bigger than any other tv in the hotel

For mine, we had me and 12 buddies go to St. Louis for a weekend and stayed downtown at the Renaissance hotel. STL has a great club/bar area and I don't remember a lot of it...

Was a blast Fri and Sat night. Sunday morning was rough for everyone...

For a buddy of mine we did something kinda low-key. BBQ at one of the guys' places, then limo ride downtown to a rooftop cubs game, bar hopped through wrigley, and limo ride back to first guy's place for more booze and shennanigans.

A guy I work with is going to a bachelor party this weekend. They rented out a 4,000 sq/ft. cabin somewhere in the hills in Tennessee. Bought a shit ton of booze, are getting two kegs there, and have strippers already on standbye.

or two of my buddies did cool shit... one rented a bus for like 700$ or something for the night- held about 35 people and with a bus you can drink while riding.

bus picked everyone up from a local bar then cruised em to some bar or two in Lake G then to scores, bus then drove everyone back to first bar. and they got cabs/rides home...

another buddy rented a bus- went to chi indoor racing, then malnati's, then strip club all on the bus...


either way. transportation can make or break it. i like busses. i just went to one of my friends, and it sucked ass.

I ended up nixing the Hard Rock. I was just going to rent the floor and not tell them what I was up to but their site is pretty serious about mentioning that they have "no tolerance" for parties. I'm like, seriously? The Hard Rock Hotel? That's so silly I have to laugh. Who would pay a grand for an entire floor and NOT party? Then they go on to say that any noise complaint will result in an immediate eviction. lol, get bent.

So we're meeting at my folks house, taking the train downtown where I got two, two bedroom suites for our base. Then we're going to take a 90 minute booze cruise/ architectural tour and then get drunk at bars.

We're both pretty anti-stripper. I just don't have any desire to pay to see women naked when I can do that for free. Plus the constant begging for dances... bleh. I went once and never again.

If you could have swung it, flying to New Orleans would make for a hell of a weekend on burban street. Vegas is cool, but New Orleans is better. Think of Vegas as controlled chaos whereas New Orleans is just chaos.

Grab a cabin for the weekend up north in Michigan or Wisconsin if you can. Bring a bunch of booze, play poker, toss some bags, and gamble on anything/everything. We did that for my bachelor party and now it has become a annual event.
