it had all of the other comic heroes walking down the street and a couple of the main guys were carrying his casket,

he wasnt dead. everyone thought he was but it was like a "coma" for his people. he comes back in later issues.

i read comics when i was smaller, my godmother used to work for a magazine compnay and she would go around to the grocery stores and count the ones in stock and the place orders and she would get me all sorts of free shit.

looks like i never paid that much attention

there was like i wanna say maybe like 10 issues (i might be way off) for the death and life of superman? i think i have 1 or 2 still.

it spawned spinoff for superman imposters..steal, a robot superman, son of krypton, bunch of stuff.

superman never really died, he just was beat down so bad he appeared to be dead for a while.

never really a fan of catwoman. they're gonna have to CG bane when he pumps it up.

nolan will fit bane into his world. make him more "believable". ive got total faith.

i sold off most of my collection from when i was young. i stay current with some titles.

i do some graded collecting occasionally.

comics aren't really worth shit unless they're in flawless condition

if you like to read, then trade paperbacks / graphic novels are the way to go.

around the time they broke batman's back, killed superman, and sucked all metal out of wolverine, i pretty much stopped reading comics. from what i'm told for the next 10 years or so, there wasn't a whole lot of good in the comic world.

I have spawn #1 in color and black and white.... And nightwing #0 and #1, comic values tanked once ebay came around.

I still have my comics. I used to collect a bunch of Image stuff and nightwing. Have nightwing 0-30 (he was the original robin). Have a bunch of spawn stuff, including limited edition black and white copies.

image was hot back then. it seemed just about everything image came out with was alright.

image is still around, though many of the titles aren't worth the 3/4 bucks a book they want.

spawn was probably one of my favorites.

I have all the "Death of Superman" stuff. My Dad took me to buy that because I was into comics at the time and he thought it would be worth money some day. I started being in to Batman comics because it was the early 90's and Batman was huge with "Batman Returns" and the animated series. After that I got really into Spiderman. I have a ton of black suit spider man and spiderman and venom comics. I even have issue #1 of the Venom spinoff they tried to do where the cover is a glow in the dark picture of Venom's face. I also have some random cheap comics like electric warrior that I bought from the comic store by my house when I was a kid. I could get 5 of those for $5 or 1 good comic so I bought 5 cheap ones once in a while.

That was awesome, I watched it all the time when I was like 8 or 9. It's was got me into comics.
