Signed up at Cardinal Fitness last night! I moved in with the GF and it has just become a pain in the ass to drive all the way home to work out. Cardinal Fitness is a block away from our place and way more convenient.

Anyone lift at the Cardinal Fitness on Cass and 63rd in Downers Grove?

Jesus. When you buying the ring?

I definitely need to get in here. Would anyone like to make some recommendations for me?

I'm at 212 I think now, gained some weight over the last few weeks (naturally) and I've set a goal of 185-190. I was below 200 several months ago, so it's not too intense of a goal. Mostly want to burn some fat but also get some muscle.

My workout always consists of a 30 minutes of pretty intense running mixed with walking. I would like to really focus on my shoulders and arms though cause I feel they are lacking.

Start off easy. Get into cardio first. Do a solid run, keep your HR around 140-150 for at least 30min, then do your lifting. P90x has great arms/back/shoulders workouts. For me, its made working out easier because I have a routine to follow, rather than just doing whatever comes to mind. P90 forces you to keep moving too and keeps your HR up.
