I watched a youtube recap of the first three seasons that reminded me of what's happening. Can't wait for next week. I'm going to try to limit my viewing to one episode every few days or so.

It's going to be tough avoiding spoilers.

I dont think Im gonna make it. So far I'm only up to ep 8 of season 2. I forgot how great season 2 is tho. I'm really enjoying going back thru this show. Hopefully I'll be able to start season 4 this weekend.

They swore in s1-3. Avasarala got most of them cause she could make a sailor blush. But yeah, they toned it down.

Probably my favorite insult she has is for the UN Secretary. She calls him a Fucking Bobblehead all the time.

Yeah, you have a certain, limited number of swear words you can use on SyFy. Amazon is not held to the same rules. Expect more F bombs.

I like the current level of expletives they use in the show. It's enough that when someone drops an F bomb, you notice it. In fact now that they all fly on amazon I'm hearing more than I remember getting blanked out when these episodes aired on syfy. I don't think they need to overdo it now just because they can. But I do admit I could listen to Avasarala drop them all day long.

Yeah, you guys are right. There was swearing on Syfy. Still, there aren't limitations about how and when (like Syfy had) on Amazon. Amazon also allows the show to be around 45 mins. rather than hitting a set mark so they can go over if they have necessary plot elements. Several of the episodes are supposed to be longer than average.

Hmm. 2 days. And I just finished up ep 11 of season 2. That still leaves 2 more episodes in S2, plus all 13 of S3 to get thru. I don't think the math is working out on this! I guess I could probably skip my cousins wedding on saturday to continue my binge.

Its time to begin reading.

Goal is to knock out the entire book tonight and tomorrow so I can start watching s4 with the book fresh in my head.

I'm thinking I'm going to hold off to an episode per day if they release it in a binge format.

Or I might be so hooked on the first episode that I watch it all in one go.

tonight has not been good for my binge quest. I completely forgot tonight is the game awards, and new season of grand tour. I think I might have too many screens in this room tho, because i was simultaneously watching the grand tour, the game awards, and the coyotes/hawks game. Or maybe I dont have enough screens..

Either way at this rate i'll be lucky to finish season 2 up tonight.

No spillers. I am exited. Having read the books I can see how they are already changing plot elements. Things that happen in book 5 and are entirely absent from book four are already having their threads laid down.

I can see why amazing renewed it for both season 4 and 5 in one go. They are shifting some plots around to make better use of the tv format
