I would think the benefits of methanol are less when running E85. The ethanol is already absorbing a lot of heat. I don't see much a difference injecting methanol or ethanol. Where the alcohol comes from (either from the fuel injectors or the dedicated methanol injectors) doesn't really matter. It absorbs heat and richens the AFR, both which suppress knock.

The comments on water above are correct when running water/alcohol injection (water absorbs a lot more heat than alcohol). So here's something to consider. Try running some water in the E85. E85 will hold over 10% water before the gasoline starts separating out. The water will be dissolves in the E85, so it won't hurt anything. Add about 5% water, bump the fueling up the same % and you have water injection built right in.

(E85 has almost 1% water to begin with.)

The killer chiller is the way to go, the ice box is great at the track I’ve seen 45* post blower temps on a 100 degree day but it only last for 5 minutes with those temps

Is your water & ice reservoir insulated? I added a simple bubble sheet with foil on both sides. It helped out a lot on those hot days. Some guys use a paint or coating as a heat barrier as well. I have seen bed liner used as well. One of those and insulation would help even more.

No it’s on my list of things to do lol, it’s a long list though, I still don’t see it taking a long time to melt, the water coming back from the heat exchanger after running through the intercooler is like 90* still maybe warmer

Not on my platform, which makes me want it lol.

For those wondering about the drip. It has a drag mode that you can select that diverts all freon to the supercharger coolant so you get no dripping at the track.

The whole system is $900, which doesn't seem crazy. They also sell a 2 gallon auxiliary tank so you always have ice cold coolant "waiting" to flow. It is very appealing.
