and this is a legit cat question....does anyone else's cat essentially greet them at the door after coming home? im talking like sitting at the door like a dog would. ive never experienced that until i got mine.

id say hes waiting for me at the door 90% of the time.

I get Pecker with the door about once a week. He always lays on the register by the door when I come home.

I gotta say Mook, I love your cat. It is pretty damn cool IMO. FWIW my man card was partially revoked when I became a nurse and was fully revoked when I bought my cats their harness type vests....shit happens?:dunno: I also will never declaw my cats. I feel like yours should grow out of it with some more age. Mine are a little over 2 years and they have calmed down on the claws a decent amount. I dunno because of the type of cat you have though.

Mine have been a lot more curious about the outdoors since I have taken them out a couple of times. Words of advice...don't skimp on the harness/leash strength. My boy cat got freaked out one day and broke the shit out the the smaller braided rope leash I had. He ran inside so I got lucky...but bigger cats are pretty damn strong!

so saturday...im laying in bed...door closed....and i hear a TICK TICK TICK TICK. i think "that sounds like the burner on the oven." then it dawns on me that it IS the burner on the oven. so i sprint out of bed and into the kitchen and sure enough the rear burner is on ignite and a nice warm fire is going.

somehow, this idiot pushed the knob in, turned it to ignite, then left it running :ugh: :ugh:

he came strolling around the corner like nothing was going on.
