Blows engine in hellcat
Begs for money, gets some help
Dealer helps him get it back running for pennies on the dollar
Car catches fire, guy blames dealer(?), hence the feud?
Insurance pays up, he buys viper and life-sized shoe wedge to help himself fit in it

Am I missing anything?
Pretty much spot on

Yes, a big part of it. Where he was the victim in all of this.

Who wants to bet this guy isnt claiming what hes pulling in on gofundme either?

It would be hilarious to see him get a tax evasion charge added to his list.

I was almost certain that GoFundMe proceeds are not taxable as they are gifts. That in itself is kind of shocking. I can't believe it would be 100% tax free.

I just looked it up...this dude raised $3300 in his last gofundme. WTF...for an engine that HE blew in a fun vehicle. What is with people that donate and encourage this behavior

And now they're asking for $100k so he can post $40k in bail...i hope he's in jail for a month

The real scum bag would be the one who set up the go fund me page to raise his bail money.

If I remember correctly, gifts are non-taxable up to $10k per year. Beyond a certain limit, gifts need to be claimed as income.

I think that limit is/was per gift-er, not gift-ee. I think it's closer to $12k now.

I was going to come in here and say that it reads like his own parents wrote it...

I was also going to give them a "naive to the real situation" -pass but then "they" decided to include a link to his own damn youtube channel... wtf

His dad has been in videos, so that makes sense.

They are definitely not naive to the situation... get out the popcorn !

Not even shocked there are people sending money and defending this guy... I mean look at the Chris Hill situation, its kinda parallel in the sense of people just flat out being ignorant to facts laid out

From the videos, he has a Dodge Minivan, Ram Rebel, Focus ST and the Viper.

Judging from the outside view, the house appears to be neglected. Maybe a cheap foreclosure flip opportunity.

From what I heard he had to pay some out of pocket still. But the dealer went above and beyond to help the guy get what he got. So what he had to pay out is peanuts compared to what he could have paid on his own. Then we know where it went from there.
Sounds right, thought the engine replacement was around $20k, which Dodge and the dealer helped, he then paid the rest (including using the $3300 GFM funds).

From his video, he referenced an installation issue with the fuel line in the engine compartment (i.e., felt the dealer was liable).

Correct but from what I was just told about 10 mins ago from people very close to the situation it's now at 31. Regardless, play stupid games; win stupid prizes.

Seems like they are doubling down on him.

Curious if that speed radar trap video he did, essentially impersonating the Police, added fuel to the fire in this situation.

The roadway he test hits / runs his vehicles on is neglected, rarely used and surrounded by corn fields (I know the area).
