Oh, I thought you meant it seemed low

Yeah, I would agree it's pretty darn good, especially around town at altitude

Altitude doesn’t really seem to affect mpg to me. Any hill I go up I go back down generally.

Also why I use 85 octane, thanks altitude.

When I first moved here I remember my Wrx consistently getting better mpg than in Illinois. No air means no fuel.....but also less hp. It also idled waaaay smoother here and didn’t have the typical boxer shake.

I kept thinking the same thing, less dense air less fuel, better mileage. But everything I read says that cars should get worse fuel economy, but the car theoretically has to work harder, to do the same work. But if you don't have your foot in it, I can totally see why you'd get better mileage.

Our civic has gone on some longer trips both west and south west over many mountain passes and has always returned over 40mpg doing it. It’s screaming up passes but then long coasts on the other sides. I think it more than evens out.

Glad it at least has the ability to have one. The Tahoe I had to cut a hole and install a door because was an option. Ridiculous.
