Default Campbell's or Progresso?

Not sure if this has been discussed. Progresso for dinner tonight.
Campbell's not even in the same league IMO

Neither one of them are in the same league as homemade. I have some split pea in the freezer that would blow them away.

I used to love canned soup as a kid but got spoiled when I started cooking my own. Now canned tastes salty and lacks flavor complexities.

Canned soups have gone downhill, too, over the years. Used to be Campbell's Cream of Chicken had a lot of chicken and a lot of cream in it.

Homemade or nothing, can’t stand soup in a can.

Same here. Except I was spoiled by a local Italian deli whose former chef made "cream of xxxxx" soups with a real cream base. It was the best soup I've ever had. I'm 99% certain he learned to cook like that in the joint, but I digress.

Campbell's

Because when I'm sick I want really salty and watered down.

It's the only time I willingly eat soup
