Any way you do it, you have to make some sort of sacrafice.

Assuming you have all the basic supporting mods already:

Nitrous-the power isnt always there and its a lot rougher on internals but its cheap

Supercharger/turbo-parts cost a TON more than just a nitrous kit and tuning but the power is always there

N/A-the price of a GREAT heads/cam setup is right in between FI and nitrous. Driveability becomes a big issue though with a serious all motor setup.


Tons of people start out making an all motor setup, because FI is just too damn expensive right off the bat. When you finally get to having heads/cam you just want more power, and most turn to nitrous. It works great with high compression and pretty much any cam. At the end of the day though, you could have gone FI from the get go to have a much more driveable and likely reliable car. Im thinking about demodding my truck some for this exact reason..:io:

I double-checked it on Wikipedia, and dike/dyke were both acceptable for both meanings. I see people typing 'dam' on here a lot, but no one is really talking about holding back water.
I will from now on.
