Sounded like it shifted fine to me. I don't know what you're expecting out of a basic automatic trans.

Thats a BASIC trans?

the 4t65e is a basic trans..

and it shifts much crisper.

hell ride in GTP Mikes car... shifts almost as hard as my old 97 (could bark the tires on the upshift... WITH THE SUPERCHARGER BELT OFF THE CAR)

MY camry shifts firmer and more consistanly than a 6L80e does

But honestly.. listen to the 1-2 shift... then listen to the 2-3 shift on that Lincoln

It's a basic trans. It's not a race trans, it's not a clutchless manual, barking the tires into gear in an auto is what makes an auto trans good? Interesting. The fastest shiftings transmissions out there do NOT bark the tires when shifting.

The baseline of 265 whp seems low for its 355 hp rating so the AWD looks like it's sucking up a lot of power. I'm not familiar with how much an average AWD system eats up power in drivetrain loses compared to a 2WD vehicle.

265/365 = 72%
332/435 = 76%

They are actually underrating it if they rate it the same way Lincoln did.
