Tuesday used to be ladies night jet car night at gld. Don't know what happened to it. That's when I saw a stock Cherokee line up against a dragster. It was a close race

There is your problem. If this guy made his run, it would have been a total of about 4 minutes to get him up to the line, do his little purge thing or whatever that is, then run.
