the engines that are put in the m3 have never been big torque #s
And that's why torque means absolutely NOTHING. HP is much more important than torque when talking about acceleration.
A car with less torque and the same amount of HP would be just as fast. That's what you domestic guys don't understand. Why is an LS1 faster than an Lt1?????
so by that logic, u could have 0.1 ftlbs of torque and 300 whp , and beat a car that has 300 ftlbs of torque and 250 whp and still beat them out of the hole? when a car has lower torque they make up for it with a higher gearing
its already gone down like 2 more times since thenas recently as last week. should be a thread in the parking lot that went this route. kj's thread i think
