i finally installed the 98+ washer bottle setup in this heap

no more dumping washer fluid on the windshield in the morning

found 1 non oem nut and one non oem sheetmetal screw

they dun fell the fuck out when i slid the bumper off partway

checked it all out, fucking minty under there

engine oil drain plug is moist but i dont give a fuck, has not used a bit of oil and its just starting to turn a dark amber after 2k

tried something with the interior lights circuit...

i may say fuckit, drill a hole and put a damn switch in the dash

exhaust is still loud as fuck but ive lost enough hearing that id easily pass for a TO member

i thought about washing it but thankfully the thought passed

found out why the RF headlight was lighting up the tree's...bottom tab wasnt in the slot

this bitch is ready to hit 300k

im guessing its a ground loop issue due to the extra current draw of the tape drive motor and the aftermath of the asshole that was playig around under the dash before i got it.

RR strut is held in by two 2x4's

it sits at the truck lot in gary and comes back here. the engine bay is one solid dust/grey color

I still get compliments on it but they usually are standing farther than 20ft so its sorta cool but it really just makes you wonder if they need to get glasses

Hah nice!

Just for clarification, I didn't jack up the dash wiring or add LED's... the wiring was complete when it went to Paulo

If the interior wiring is still wonky... I recall the dimmer switch was quite finicky and would only shut off if adjusted just right...

oh and saw that you needed to replace the high-speed fan relay. I usually had to do that at least once a summer if not more. the second fan probably has a mild short.

i was trying to find out where power was getting into the interior lights keeping them on 24/7....figured it was either the switch or the added on mood lighting....i just pulled the fuse. im sure i have a dimmer in a box somewhere.

yeah its tight so i dumped a buncha oil inside the motor housing to try and lube the bushings/bearings

this thing gets only the finest junk and used parts.....one reason the sc tensioner is a bonnie unit with the coils ziptied to it and its missing the pass dogbone...and the diagonal brace was hacked off with a sawzall.

i figure i can take it to 300k before the back end of it falls the fuck off. i picked up some 1/8th wall 1x1 tube that i was goonna cut and weld down both sides of the pinch welds so we can use a floor jack without getting nervous.

weren't those diagonal braces awesome? previous owner had "powdercoated" them.

I never saw pics of the car with the mods on it before I bought it, just the aftermath of it all. I dug way back in the 'ol archives here last night and found all of the guy's (rjaz gtp) for-sale posts of the stuff he took off... good times, apparently. Never did figure out if he demodded and sold the car because of impending trans failure, or to keep the missus happy, lol. - seemed he had it built and done for a week. Never did find any evidence that the block was swapped out, as you suspected, though, I know it didn't happen on my watch.

not a problem with the trans at all. you do anything with it?

and I know damn well my old man enjoys the car from how fast the front tread is wearing off with how few miles we've put on it

the trans in there came from tommygloves, it had some miles on it when I put it in, but had been rebuilt. the original gave up the ghost at 117K.

It's certainly not the same car without the 1.9's. Man I miss that top end (giggity)
