What car would you swap an LS motor into and drive the piss out of? Right now I'm dreaming about owning a Porsche 911 with an LS. The 996 generation has some sort of problem with a bearing wearing out prematurely, which can lead to a chatostrophic engine failure. You can pick up a non running model for under 10k. Factor in another 10k the LS swap and you got a ride that is completely different than all the common LS Z cars, rx7's 240's, fox body's etc. An LS is a little taller and longer but from what I'm told it makes a negligible difference on weight and handling. Only thing that could be a little weird is the gearing, 1st would top out at like 35mph with a 5500 redline. So I'd prolly build the motor to spin 6500. On the plus you prolly wouldn't be fighting for traction so much with the weight all over the rear.
