Lights, camera, Joker!
We knew Jared Leto was going to look almost unrecognizable when he began filming his new movie Suicide Squad. But over the weekend, the actor didn't just display green hair and no eyebrows. He piled on the makeup and even donned some new tattoos!
Cameras rolled as Leto worked dark eye makeup and a bold red lip late into the evening. He also showed off those impressive abs (and recent ink jobs) in an unbuttoned purple shirt with a bright silver blazer.
While we don't want to spoil any major plotlines, we can reveal the scene being filmed involved an argument centered between the Joker and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie). Before things got too tense, however, the pair was spotted sharing a sweet kiss.
Yes, pop culture fans. This is for a movie role, not a hot new real-life couple.

The Oscar winner has undergone quite the transformation for his latest movie. Putting aside the new hair and makeup routine, the 43-year-old hunk has definitely bulked up and flaunted his pumped-up muscles on Instagram.
There also was director David Ayers' picture on Twitter that showed a shirtless Leto in full costume. Is it just us or are the tattoos totally hot?
"The opportunity to take on this nearly Shakespearean character—that's what graphic novels and comic books are becoming, right?" he recently shared with Billboard. "[He's] this beautiful disaster of a character. What a big challenge."
Suicide Squad, which also stars Will Smith and Cara Delevingne, is set to hit theatres Aug. 5, 2016.

i don't know why all the supposed excitement over leto in the trailer, heath ledger's joker is going to be tough to live up to

Same was said about Heath living up to Jack Nicholson's joker. I appreciate the diversity from one to the next. Each eras joker has been an epic performance, so i welcome Leto inturpratation on the role. Hoping it can hold its own place in the hall of fame of jokers.

nicholson is more comical/closer to actual comics. as a result he's a lot less creepy and scary though.

Depends on what series you're reading....

I could say he was completely off from the Joker in The Killing Joke, which I'm guessing is the version Leto is more going towards...

I can't wait to see how they have Harley and him interact.
