Being famous has really gotta suck if it leads so many people into drug addiction and death.

Off the top of my head just in the last 10 years we've seen Whitney houston, Amy winehouse, Michael Jackson, Robin Williams, and one of my personal favorites, Brad Delp.

I think Robin Williams had a little something extra going on. He had some degenerative brain condition that was worsening as he got older. I'd have to check the interwebs, but it wasn't something that he shared publicly.

RIP. Sounds like he had demons for quite some time. Looks like the medication Ativan he was taking also is linked to suicides.

From what his wife stated a couple days ago, she spoke to him on the phone before the last show, and he was perfectly fine. Was talking about planning the next family vacation and such. After the show, she said he sounded off and was slurring his words. He also mentioned he might have taken an extra Ativan or two. She was concerned after that phone call, so she called security to check on him. That's when they found him dead.

It's amazing how many anti-depressant medications have a side effect of new found or increased suicidal thoughts.

I took Ativan for anxiety a few years ago, but I never had any issues and/or dependencies. I stopped taking it because I felt like I didn't feel need to anymore.
