Yeah ingress had the same problems. always active GPS with the screen on will do that. Unfortunately unavoidable.

Im waiting for US release. I heard that may ban people that use it before its release and get it off the internet like apk. And it may fuck with your phone in some way. I have been checking the app store each day though.
