If i had the scratch, Id love to daily drive a 2015+ SS with an LSA blower and minor bolt ons. According to greg (my builder) it is the PERFECT daily driver.

I still love the look of E39 M5's. It's a timeless design. It's pretty impressive that the M5 was that close to the SS on a road course, even with a blown shock.

The SS seems like a great drivers car, it's just too vanilla. Randy Pobst thought that it was a rental car lol.

Just a guess, but I'm assuming that most e39's have had to get new tires by now. So throwing on performance summer tires isn't really far fetched. It's not like they are kumho v710's on there, pilot sports are standard performance tires these days
