How is a blower kit minimal mods?

When the car is already setup for a blower from the factory it is pretty minimal.

Like saying a 3800 can do 700hp with minmal mods: Turbo kit, Big Injectors, Fuel pump. Not minimal

700 does not equal 985.

Isn't the car like 985hp from 662hp is a 48% gain. Many many cars could get that kind of a gain from a blower swap and fuel system upgrade. While the number is impressive, everything is relative.

P.S. 3800 blocks can run 225%+ of stock power level with stock heads and internals, just a turbo and fuel system upgrades. Once this runs 1490 hp I'll be impressed. Gotta keep it relative Bro.

Most cars get a large gain because they come from the factory without a power adder. I could give 2 shits what a 3800 makes power wise. What is the fastest 3800 FWD 1/4 mile time again?

I spent 30 grand over about 7 years to go 10.8 in my Marauder.. Was that due to ignorance and experimentation? a lot of it yes.

To spend 12k or less, and install everything in a weekend and make almost 1000rwhp is nothing short of remarkable, and the intelligent way to mod your car.

My 12 year old car matters how to the GT500?

Do I want one? Sure. Who wouldn't. Will I end up choking up 75k for one? Probably not... but you never know.

Is 75K + whats probably 15k in upgrades for 90k total invested to get to 1kwhp impressive? Eh, I'm not convinced...

It's all about perspective, Jimmy. The GT500 is a great machine, no doubt. But $15k in upgrades to a 75k car to maybe get mid 9s out of it... not so sure myself.

That is minimal mods, you are barely touching the fuel system and making 1000 rwhp.

Any noob with basic mechanical skills can slap on the blower. It IS mininimal mods, but not minimal cost. For nearly 1,000 it seems like a pretty good deal though.
