Let’s hear it. Do you have a movie or long documentary you watch over and over again?

I have watched Fight Club a billion times. Used to watch it with my sister and still quote random lines from it.

I have seen Love the Beast documentary about Eric Banna’s car about half a million times. My wife put the dvd away because I watch it soo much which I am now going to find and watch at least once today!

Lately I’ve been watching another documentary called “It Might get Loud.” Jimmy page, Jack white, and the Edge (U2 guitarist) talk about Guitars and their history. It’s quite interesting to hear them tell their stories And play together.

In all honesty, I rarely watch movies if I'm by myself. IF I happen to catch it on, I'll always watch Casino, Godfather, Goodfellas, Predator, Total Recall, etc.

I have to be in a mindset to actually want to watch movies. Now tv on the other hand..

Twister and Wild Hogs.
I definitely forgot to add Twister to the list. I do watch that once a year probably. As loud as I think my neighbors can stand. :) I love the score from that movie. And that ending them with Eddie Van Halen is great.

I will also add Contact with Jody Foster.

Eddie comes in around the 1:30 mark.

There were a lotta good songs in that movie. I bought the CD soundtrack back in the day (remember those?) Think I still have most of those songs ripped to my computer.
My supervisor likes to play a game when he's around and we are working together.

He plays random scores from movies and asks me who the composer is. 9/10 times I can identify the major composers. James Horner, John Williams, Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer...etc. All of them have a particular style, or favored instrument that shows up in their music like a fingerprint.

Its a bit ironic that James Horner use of Horns is so identifiable considering his last name. Sadly he's dead now, so I don't know how that new Avatar sequels will sound. Speaking of James Horner and Avatar.

Avatar. I fucking LOVE Avatar. I don't care if you call it the Live Action Fern Gully, or derivative. I can watch it any day of the week.
