Yea. Many years ago. It was around the time that they widened Route 64 from 59 through to Kautz Rd by Charlestowne mall. They needed the land that the parking lot/entrance that Diamond's was on for additional "right of way," so I'm sure it was acquired under emminent domain or whatever that's called. Anyway, now Groot as a waste transfer facility there now. Now they're redoing the Powis Rd. intersection again.

i don't recall the accident. i just remember going there under 21 and could not sit with 1/2 our group because they were over 21. even though they didn't bring anything. they didn't even like us having tables next to each other.
