Too bad. I used to love driving my K5 in rivers. But the 42" tires and 7" of lift helped me keep the water out of the motor.

being a 98, I'd have to change down to OBD1, which will be a bit of a mess.

The engine is an OBD2 engine.... out of a 1998 Explorer.... That I put into an OBD2 truck... a 1998 ranger....

should of put a foxbody motor in that pup and be done with it. ooorr gone w/ the 4.6

Had it been a 95 or older, I would have done a fox swap.

The 4.6 is quite a bit wider, and requires 100% Custom mounts/headers, and the loss of all climate controls.

It is a 'weird' middle ground...
