Hah! I'm not the ONLY one who felt she looked familiar!

Has The Mandalorian Been Hiding A Star Wars Rebels Character In Plain Sight?

The Digital face for Luke was terrible. Just as bad as the atrocity of young Leia in Rogue One.That finale was interesting. Imagine what movie companies can do with the technology. As many "new" old classics as you want. Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, Arnold, Sean Connery, you name who you want to see in continuations of old movie series.
The Madalorian actually used deep fake type technology for Luke where as Rogue One used 3D rotoscoping. Both looked like shit but Tarken was probably pulled off the best. The Digital face for Luke was terrible. Just as bad as the atrocity of young Leia in Rogue One.
The sad truth is the guys that came after and did the Deep Fake's of it did a better job than Disney.
I could tell Tarkin was fake, but he was good enough to pass muster. Leia was horrifying. Way deep into the uncanny valley. The Madalorian actually used deep fake type technology for Luke where as Rogue One used 3D rotoscoping. Both looked like shit but Tarken was probably pulled off the best.
Robin Wright was in a movie that focused on this. She sold her digital likeness and all the problems that came of it.Deep fake technology is just getting started, IMO. I bet it gets to be so good we can't tell the difference between the fake and real. Families will be licensing their dead relatives' face rights.
