I'm enjoying this more than any Star Wars content that's been out in a long time.

Ive finally accepted this as the cheesy western its supposed to be...definitely helps. Here are my ep 3 takeaways.

• why does baby yoda, an alien, sound like a human baby? Its an incredibly minor gripe but it seems odd to me.
• if mando can never take off his helmet, how does he eat or drink?
• when this show actually allows action, its a ton of fun.
• the final shootout was fantastic and legit gave me goosebumps.
• this show continues to have THE WORST streaming quality out of all the big streamers. its made even worse when I've been watching 4k/ HDR content on Netflix all week. hell, even on demand episodes on hulu look better. this is unacceptable and its shocking so many people praise how good this looks. its made even more ridiculous when you watch other 4k content on the service.
• audio is garbage too. its supposed to be in atmos, clearly isnt. such a letdown.
• ive given up on wanting good acting. i'm taking it for what it is now.
• show is really ramping up and i'm enjoying it far more.

ep 2 and 3 were turning points for me. really liking where things are heading now.

What are you watching through mook? I watch through the xbox one x on a sony 4k and have no issues?

One X via my OLED. It's just not impressive.... Even compared to their other 4k content.

I agree with Mook. We downloaded the Disney app on the TV and are streaming with Wifi. The picture is good but doesn’t blow me away like when we watch a 4K HD Blu-ray Disc.

After watching 3 i was wondering, a lot of characters have remarked how hard ,unusual, other they have never seen a Mandalorian .

So I'm rewatching the first 3 eps with my BILL... When Mando first goes into the rhino cave..... Do we hear an r2 unit beep? Or is that just meant to be ambience?

Also thinking Mando is protecting baby Yoda because OG Yoda saved him when that trade federation bot was about to blast him.

What are you talking about? Was this in one of the flashbacks I missed?

It's a theory I have. They keep showing flashbacks. They take place during episodes 1/2. Yoda was prominent back then.

I was thinking that was the Empire, but yeah more likely during the Clone Wars based on the age and timing.
